Privacy Policy

Summary

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Your diecast inventory, photos, notes, and values are stored locally on your device unless you optionally enable iCloud sync through your Apple account.

Information we do not collect

• No account registration or email required to use the app
• No analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or tracking libraries
• No collection of collection contents, photos, barcodes, or values on our servers
• No third-party marketing or data brokers

Data stored on your device

Inventory data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework in your app's private container on iPhone or iPad. Photos you attach to items are stored locally and are not uploaded to our servers.

Optional iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your inventory may sync across your devices through Apple's iCloud service under your Apple ID. That data is subject to Apple's privacy policy and security practices. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

In-app purchases

Pro upgrades are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us only the information needed to validate that a purchase occurred (such as transaction identifiers), as described in Apple's policies.

Camera and photos

Die Cast Shelf requests camera access to scan barcodes and take photos of your cars. Images are used only within the app on your device unless you explicitly export or share them using iOS share features you control.

External links

The app may open external websites (for example, eBay sold listings or search links) in Safari. Those sites have their own privacy policies independent of Die Cast Shelf.

Children's privacy

Die Cast Shelf is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
